JUDGE: Carol Creel LWS is signature member of the Louisiana Watercolor Society who has won numerous awards for her colorful watercolors, including a recent National Watercolor Society award. She is a favorite teacher whose work has been exhibited across the U.S. and Europe. Click to see more of her paintings.

Exhibit Rules
The 2019 Juried Member Show will celebrate the Golden Anniversary of LWS.
Think gold! The gold theme is optional, but for those who might be interested, the ban on three gold products has been lifted for the anniversary show. In keeping with the theme, the following 3 gold paint products will be allowed for this one time special event: gold gesso, metallic watercolor and gold leaf. NO glitter. All the other exhibit rules still apply. Read the RULES .
The juried exhibition of original waterbased media on paper is open to all members in good standing of the LWS. 2018 dues must be paid.
Please review all the RULES before submitting your entries. In addition, the Atrium Gallery has the following requirements for this show:
- Minimum Frame size is 16″ x 20″
- Paintings must be framed under plexiglass, complete with screw-eyes and wire. Mats, when used, must all be white or off-white.

Entry Procedure
Digital Entries File Format: Only jpeg files accepted, using high quality camera setting or 300dpi.
Digital image must represent the painting exactly, showing no frame or mat and without extraneous background. Image must be correctly oriented (vertical or horizontal).
Jpeg file name should be as follows: Last Name, First Name, Title of Painting, Painting Size.(without frame)
Entry Fee 1 to 3 submissions: $20.00. No refunds.

Delivery of paintings
Accepted artists will be notified via email by Oct. 19 and a list of accepted paintings will be posted on the LWS web site.
Hand delivered paintings must be dropped off 9-10:30 AM on Saturday, Nov. 3rd. There is no administrative fee charged for hand delivered paintings.
Shipped paintings must arrive by Nov. 1, 2018. Shipping costs will be handled by the artists. LWS will provide storage, handling and services of a professional packing company. Exhibitors using this service will be charged a $50 administrative fee. Detailed instructions for shipping will be sent.
Insurance
It is suggested that artists carry their own insurance in proper limits. Settlement for works damaged in transit remains the responsibility of the artist and shipper.
